How Does TURBOFLEX Make Installation Faster?
TURBOFLEX allows the installer to adjust the glass directly inside the profile. The adjustment is made at the glass itself, making it easier to achieve a consistent and precise final result.
At a glass height of 1,100 mm, each panel can be adjusted laterally by up to 35 mm inwards or outwards. This corresponds to 2° in each direction and a total adjustment range of 4°, or approximately 70 mm.
An optional vertical adjustment of ±3 mm is also available to compensate for height differences.
This generous adjustment range helps installers absorb construction tolerances without needing to reposition the complete profile.
Can TURBOFLEX Be Installed from One Side?
Yes. TURBOFLEX is designed for installation from the safe side of the balustrade.
The installer can position, secure and adjust the glass without requiring access from the outside. Depending on the project, this can reduce the need for scaffolding, lifting equipment or other external access solutions.
One-sided installation can therefore improve both efficiency and safety—especially on balconies, elevated terraces and multi-storey buildings.
Does the Glass Move After It Has Been Adjusted?
Once the glass has been correctly positioned and secured, it remains fixed.
Each clamp requires only one screw, tightened to 6 Nm using the TURBOFLEX® Torque Tool. The controlled tightening process helps ensure consistent installation across the complete balustrade.
Fixed means fixed: the glass does not shift after adjustment, reducing the risk of repeated corrections or return visits.
How Much Time Can TURBOFLEX Save?
Depending on the project and installation conditions, TURBOFLEX can make installation up to 70% faster than conventional systems.
The difference becomes particularly significant on projects involving multiple glass panels. Dinkel Glas in the Netherlands, for example, reported:
“We installed 18 glass panels without a handrail in one hour!”
