Metrostation Opera Antwerpen - TL-3011 & TL-6020
Download project imagesOpera is a station in the Antwerp premetro network, lying under the Leien near the Teniersplaats in the city centre. The station was opened on March 25, 1975, at the initial opening of the Antwerp premetro network.
The station lies in the immediate proximity of the Antwerp opera building and is a part of the central east-west premetro axis. It was closed for passengers due to the works on the Noorderlijn project, which include a renovation of the station, and the opening of the platforms on the-3 level.

The station is equipped with our Glass Profile TL3011, FlexFit 1.0kN, Glass Profile 6021 bent, and Bendfit 1.0kN products, which were installed by Van den Beemd B.V. The result is a sleek, modern space that is both functional and visually appealing.

Our glass balustrades are built to last, and they’re perfect for busy areas where people are constantly coming and going. Plus, they’re easy to clean and maintain, so you’ll never have to worry about them looking anything less than perfect.

The glass profile 6021 bent and Bendfit 1.0kN were used to create a unique, curved façade for the station, which allows for an abundance of natural light to enter the space.
